It only takes 10 Spotpower (SP) to haul a truck across the Boston Dynamics parking lot (~1 degree uphill, truck in neutral).
Boston Dynamics has increasingly become a leader in supply chain and logistics solutions via robotics. Most recently, the company announced the acquisition of Kinema Systems, a Menlo Park-based company that enables industrial robotic arms with deep learning technology to locate and move boxes on complex pallets.
SpotMini is a nimble robot that handles objects, climbs stairs, and will operate in offices, homes and outdoors. These Spot robots are coming off the production line now and will be available for a range of applications soon. It will be interesting to see where they land and how they contribute to the evolution of supply chain operations.
