3PL Central creates warehouse management systems for third-party logistics warehouse. They also create opportunity.
They created and launched the 3PL Central Supply Chain Scholarship which gives $2,500 to college students currently enrolled in supply chain and logistics programs. They hope it also inspires innovation within the industry.
Applicants for the 2021 spring semester must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management at an accredited U.S.-based university. They must also submit a 1,000 word essay on “the next big advancement” in warehouse or inventory management.
Submissions must be turned in by December 1, 2020. 3PL will notify the winner before January 1, 20121.
“With supply chain and logistics becoming an even greater opportunity for students launching or changing their careers, 3PL Central wants to encourage these future leaders to not only consider a career in logistics but also to think about what the industry could look like in the future in terms of technology and processes,” said Rachel Trindade, chief marketing officer at 3PL Central.
