Workato Earns CoupaLink Certification to Connect Its BSM Platform to ERP, Management, and App Tools

by Ruth Seeley

Workato, an intelligent integration and automation platform, has recently earned CoupaLink™ certification. This means non-specialists will be able to connect the Coupa Software business spend management (BSM) platform directly to enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, financial systems from vendors such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft, contract management tools like Apttus or Ariba, as well as custom applications and databases.

Coupa uses intelligent integration and automation. Through CoupaLink, Workato will now be able to offer customers the ability to quickly build and easily manage integrations across 1000+ SaaS and on-premise applications and to rapidly build, deploy, and modify automations across a variety of services without code. It will also provide a powerful, flexible solution for companies that want to integrate the Coupa BSM Platform with other enterprise apps, allowing them to match invoices to purchase orders, confirm item receipt, and provide payment to suppliers in a timely manner.

“We use Workato to automate many processes at SeatGeek, including some key AP flows between Coupa and NetSuite,” says Kevin Baumler, Head of Business Systems at SeatGeek. “We liked the idea of having a single clean interface for end users in Coupa, and strong global consolidated reporting in Netsuite. Workato not only allowed us to build the standard Coupa-NetSuite integrations that you would expect from an out-of-the-box connector, but it also gave us a way to quickly build more advanced integrations, like automating accrual entries.”

Workato will now offer customers wall-to-wall automations and integrations between their e-Procurement tools and surrounding enterprise applications to create an automated procure-to-pay process. By optimizing their business spend, reducing risk and the cost of third-party software integration, companies can automate workflows without sacrificing either security or governance.
