Accenture Buying OnProcess for its Supply Chain Operations Capabilities

by Carolyn Mathas

Accenture will acquire OnProcess Technology to enable organizations to refine processes, improve inventory management, and solve complex service challenges.

The purchase will expand Accenture’s supply chain capabilities in asset recovery and service supply chain management, allowing clients to manage service orders, drive returns, track movement, and ensure the appropriate reuse, disposal, or recycling of assets.

Together, the companies will offer clients supply chain delivery capabilities with integrated after-sales operations to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience, supporting a more sustainable supply chain.

Headquartered in Boston, OnProcess has more than 1,500 employees located in the U.S., India, Costa Rica and Bulgaria. Completion of the acquisition will be subject to customary closing conditions and antitrust clearances.
